From Policy to Local Initiatives
With increasing recognition of the environmental challenges we face in the 21st century there is a substantial drive from central government on alleviating global warming; reducing our carbon footprint; social enterprise; alternative technologies and environmental awareness. These emerging (and constantly changing) policies need to be incorporated into regional and local public sector frameworks alongside being adhered to by all private sector initiatives.
Through past and ongoing professional experience of working on a wide array of projects, within both the public and private sector, the SRM team has in depth and constantly updated knowledge of developing, meeting and utilising environmental policy. This is complemented by the fact that we actively work with the public sector agencies and consult with central government on developing new environmental policy.
