Introduction

Sustainable Resource Management (SRM) was officially established in early 2007 as a new division within JHWalter LLP. Over the prior decade JHWalter have been involved in a wide array of sustainable development projects including renewable energy, low energy housing and social enterprise, alongside a number of projects with regional public sector bodies to promote sustainable initiatives.

Drawing upon this established knowledge base and our passionate belief that true sustainability is achievable, SRM was conceived; the ambition of which is to provide practical solutions and an innovative approach to sustainability, to disseminate knowledge and provide inspiration to those with a desire to achieve sustainable objectives. In addition SRM also links social enterprise and communities to the core issues of countryside and resource management.
